In March, 1993, three men went on a brutal murder rampage, killing 5 people and taking children as hostages. Their crimewave culminated in a siege at an unoccupied homestead in Cangai, NSW.

In January 2000, the bodies of Pamela and Bill Weightman were found in the wreck of their car at the base of a cliff Police said it was an accident, but Pam's sister was convinced they were murdered.

The skeleton of a small girl turned up inside tattered suitcase on a dusty South Australian highway in 2015. Police knew immediately they were the remains of a murdered child.
