Anya manages to secure a high‑profile story about a lynx. During filming, the animal escapes, and the journalists, together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, head into the forest. There, due to a ridiculous accident, Lanskoy makes an important confession.

Anya exposes the head of the prison, who hired actors from the Youth Theatre to pose as inmates in order to conceal embezzlement. The high‑profile report makes the intern a star of the TV channel, but provokes a dangerous conflict between the management and the mayor. Faced with a choice, the girl rejects Tolik's proposal and chooses her career.

The TV channel loses its funding, and Anya sets out to find sponsors. Naively, the intern comes with a commercial proposal to a spa salon, which turns out to be a hidden brothel. Meanwhile, Lanskoy, on the mayor's orders, shoots an absurd video about urban improvement, risking his career.
