The first task is to shoot a story about a huge, spontaneous dump in the courtyard. Lanskoy pushes Anya to make mistakes, hoping she will fail. The video ends up online, and this threatens the girl with dismissal.

Anya manages to secure a high‑profile story about a lynx. During filming, the animal escapes, and the journalists, together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, head into the forest. There, due to a ridiculous accident, Lanskoy makes an important confession.

Anya exposes the head of the prison, who hired actors from the Youth Theatre to pose as inmates in order to conceal embezzlement. The high‑profile report makes the intern a star of the TV channel, but provokes a dangerous conflict between the management and the mayor. Faced with a choice, the girl rejects Tolik's proposal and chooses her career.
