A client travels from South Carolina to order a giant flip-flop cake. Plus, a local school asks Buddy to create a kid-friendly cake to celebrate the continuation of their studies.

Buddy creates a phoenix cake for an Irish bar; not an easy task, since the ovens are being replaced. Later, Joey tests out the new ovens by making his famous Irish soda bread.

Buddy visits the Seaport Museum to get inspiration for a nautical-themed cake. Meanwhile, a celebrity stops by to order a yummy cake for her mum.
