A new season brings new challenges as Villalobos Rescue Center expands beyond New Orleans and into the surrounding swamps, opening a satellite shelter in nearby Assumption Parish.

A challenge comes in the form of a stray dog stuck in the swamp, Tia takes in two sickly puppies from an overwhelmed owner, and one of Villalobos favorite residents finally finds a chance at a forever home.

Sui, ready for more responsibility, tests himself by taking the lead in a rescue, an adopter looks for a dog that will feel at home around her many chickens, and Tia rescues a pit bull with scars that reveal a painful past.
