Atocha reveals to Sebastián that Covadonga, without realizing it, is just another puppet in her plan to strip Leonel of the power she so deeply desires.

Sebastián challenges Alba's convictions, insisting that Leonel is not the noble man she defends, and proposes a plan to expose the truth behind his supposed good intentions.

Alba discovers that Benigno might be her grandfather and, without giving him the benefit of the doubt, confronts him for having allowed so many tragedies to happen to her and to Camilo right before his eyes.
