While getting drenched in the rain, Fuji encounters an "abandoned dog" on the street and brings it home.

Fuji and her "dog" go on a walk with her neighbor Kii and her dog Kinako. Then Fuji's dad, Tatsuo, shows up.

Fuji's friends from school, Ren and Mimi, visit her for a gyoza party.
