Darshi leaves for the nearby town, promising his wife, Lakshmi and daughter, Siri, that he will get new clothes for them. As they wait for his return, the village head, Shivaya, comes bearing bad news.

Seven years ago, Pushpa, a courtesan, moved to Peddapalli. The Sarpanch allows her to stay on the outskirts of the village and assigns his henchman, Darshi, to help her. She then has a face-off with Siri.

A girl's body is found hanging from a banyan tree, leading to chaos in the village. Meanwhile, Darshi and Pushpa come closer and decide to get married. But fate has something else in store.
