A mystery surrounds a baby left at the station house with a note that reads, "I am in great danger. Please help me. My father is...Remy McSwain."

Remy is taken prisoner by three escaped, female convicts, who are after a cache of loot they stole from an armored car.

Remy tracks a bomber who kidnaps Janine and threatens to obliterate the French Quarter because "it's littered with topless bars, nightclubs...and murder."
