Jiří Markovič does not want to accept the fact that he has to close the whole case, because he has another confession from Ladislav Hojer. But the order from the management sounded clear. And waiting for Ladislav Hojer is the wooden sleeping bag he saw in his dream.

Only 55 days have passed since Ladislav Hojer was sentenced to death by the city court. The 1985 Spartakiad is approaching and the heads of the STB department hope that nothing will disrupt this magnificent sporting event. However, a young woman is found dead in Prague and everything indicates that she is a sexual rapist. Jiří Markovič has no idea that he has the biggest case of his career ahead of him.

A second dead woman is found. What's more, another woman was attacked nearby that same evening, and survived the attack only by chance. It's clear to Markovič that a dangerous serial killer is on the loose in Prague, and he finds himself under increasing pressure from the StB. He believes it's a juvenile sexual aggressor, but his friend Dr. Řemen disagrees. It would be a great rarity.
