Greg and Cam plan to break the news that they're open to Cam's parents, to ring in the New Year with both honesty, and discomfort. Princeton plans his own double date: him and Kat with Elsa and Reggie. But Kat's girlfriend Olive crashes.

Princeton shrugs off a rejection from Kat - by hosting a naked pool party. Greg and Cam attend, hoping to reconnect. Elsa and Reggie wander in accidentally, but may end up winning the title of party MVP (Most Validating of Princeton).

Greg, Cam, Princeton, Elsa and Reggie go to see a (w)holesome puppet show at the theater. Unless...wait. Those puppets look awfully familiar...so does the guy with a fist inside one of the puppets (Princeton's). Will the gang trauma bond?
