Three American men who only speak English look for love in a seaside villa with twelve international women who do not speak English, testing a social experiment on whether love can break through the language barrier.

The men and three special women test out their connections on an adrenaline-packed date; miscommunications bring some couples together but push others apart; the women at the villa make a plan to win back the men's attention.

The men and women smell each other's pheromones while blindfolded during a new communication exercise; tensions rise at the villa when the men select their next dates.
