The candidates face the first mystery box of the season. It has surprises in store. The ingredients found there were selected by MasterChef Quebec viewers and it is quite a challenge to arrange them.

The candidates receive a visit from a guest judge who poses a very specific challenge to them. They will have to cook one of their favorite ingredients to perfection. To please him, participants will have to demonstrate precision and creativity.

During the tasting, certain dishes charm the judges while others disappoint. This challenge makes many realize that the competition will be tight within the group. Candidates narrowly avoid the elimination challenge.
