For thirty years, Captain Dítě has been haunted by a skeleton in the closet from the Jordán case. He was once so naive that he promised the mother of a missing girl that he would solve the case.

Captain Dítě is homeless, Fáberová is at war with her father. But everything goes sideways when the concrete-encased corpse of the alleged murderer is found in a barn near Davle. Quiet weekends are postponed indefinitely.
