Tommy and Pål escape from custody, and it seems that Tommy can manage to be baptized after all. However, this does not look so bright, since Freddy has found out about Monica's hiding place.

Monica's grandmother Lissy tries to rescue the young girl from a drug den. At the same time, we get a glimpse into an episode from Lissy's own childhood, where she rebels in an institution.

Freddy is gone and there's a drought in town. But that doesn't stop Monica in her desperate search for hippies.
