Synopsis: A comic deam sequence reminiscent of "The Graduate's" wedding scene caps tonight's show. It's a slumber bummer for Lionel: the girl he loves is dating a rock superstar.

Saga of two guinea pigs: Bobby's existing on zinnia seeds and Lionel's trying to stay awake in two experiments run by a pair of wacky doctors.

"All in the Family's" Rob Reiner appears as the head of a Fifties rock group that Bobby is pushing onto the comeback trail. Cameo appearances by Flash Cadillac and the Continental Kids, satirists of Fifties rock 'n' roll.
