Giada De Laurentiis makes four recipes based on ingredients pulled from the herbs she grows at home including a fun cocktail and a few wonderfully scented desserts.

Four recipes with a kick. Giada De Laurentiis heats up the kitchen with spicy food including a hot twist on meatballs, a hot gazpacho, a spicy ravioli, and even a fiery strawberry and chocolate dessert.

Every once in a while, it's fun to hunker down in the kitchen and spend the day making some classic recipes from scratch. In this episode, Giada De Laurentiis goes "old school," skipping the short cuts, to make Mixed Berry and Thyme Jam, Mascarpone and Lemon Gnocchi and Homemade Cinnamon-Raisin Bread the old fashioned way.
