Annie and twin sister Sylvie get together for a birthday celebration at Sunnyside Farm. But they have both received upsetting letters along with their birthday cards - Annie from the health farm where her husband breathed his last, and Sylvie from her air steward son.

Annie discovers that the flat she is sharing with her daughter has been sold to some dodgy characters who have a fondness for rottweilers.

Annie's daughter Tiffany shows every sign of having fallen in love.
