Sigurd feels that the world is unraveling, and is in desperate need of contact. But Mats is in a secret meeting, and Tuva is mostly focused on her turbulent relationship with the poet Anders.

Sigurd, Mats and Tuva seek out a positive and unifying drug experience, and soon they meet themselves, each other - and an armed soldier - at the door.

Sigurd struggles with his conscience when he and Mats decide to participate in the "sleppet" - a cynical game where you go out on the town sober when the nightclubs close to check up on girls who still haven't found anyone to share a bed with.
