Ui Shik goes to Taekang Group to arrest Jae Jun without a warrant. Yi Je injects a drug to Jae Jun, and Jae Joon stabs Yi Je with a knife. Jae Joon gets arrested for the attempted murder of Yi Je. So Geum tries to make Young Chul confess that he murdered Congressman Jung because of Jae Joon's order.

Min Shik gets Ahn Jin Chul's help and releases the tabloid about Jae Joon being investigated for charges of attempted murder and for abetting a felony. Jae Joon's habeas corpus gets acknowledged, and he gets released. At the regular board meeting, Yi Je gives the board members evidence of Jae Joon's attempted murder.
