The investigation into the assassination of Nikitin and Borisov continues. The evidence points to the serious training of the attackers and their connection with the top army leadership. Yura is also not going to sit idly by and wants to take revenge on his godfather's murderers on his own, but he does not have time — Khaletsky kidnaps him.

Ilyina gives Vershinin 24 hours to find Nikitin. Meanwhile, Andrey's team begins searching for and detaining everyone who produces and sells drugs in the city. All those caught point to Khaletsky. Vershinin realizes that it was he who took Yakovlev's place and is now trying to regain control of the port.

Riot police storm the country house where Yura is being held. However, Khaletsky has nothing to charge, except kidnapping. Vershinin understands that more powerful forces are involved in the attempt on Yura and the murder of Gleb Borisov. Meanwhile, Medushevsky is released directly from the courtroom. First of all, the lawyer contacts his wife, who once contributed to his arrest.
