Three elderly ex-train robbers rob the Fortuna II, and Lucky has to go after them himself since the ship was outside the three-mile limit.

A high-society matron representing a private charity comes aboard the Fortuna to hack apart the roulette wheel, and Andamo falls in love with her.

After Lucky converts the Fortuna to an exclusive club to avoid the police's attempts to shut down the ship as a casino, he deals with a young woman who is being blackmailed by an unknown criminal.
