Lander visits the Oakwood Close Housing Estate, a new development beset with such niggling problems as flying garage doors, exploding air cupboards and live guttering.

On the eve of the publication of the memoirs of double-agent Russell Nicholson, Lander goes to visit him to find out why he betrayed his country and why he told his wife his name was Cyril.

Investigative journalist David Lander talks to a farm worker about the decline of British farming and discovers what part Roy Orbison played in it all.
