The High Mountain Rangers go head to head with three escaped prisoners, one of whom is the mortal enemy of Jesse Hawkes (Robert Conrad) the man who created The High Mountain Rangers.

An earthquake jolts everyone into persuading an old timer and his granddaughter (Bill Erwin, Nicki Vannice) to leave a danger area, and to search for missing spelunkers.

Jesse (Robert Conrad) is unaware that an old friend is fleeing the law when the man stops by with the daughter he's accused of abducting.
