Everything had been planned—Juan Amado had left everything in order. The chocolate reserves are running out, Rosita promises Bruce she won't fail him, while Samantha wants to find out what her rival is like.

The Amados arrive very well accompanied and are surprised when they see the Rémingtons' mansion. Ángel is determined to pursue Rosita, no matter the cost. Bruce doesn't feel the slightest attraction to Juan's granddaughter.

Grace celebrates the Amados' arrival, but the party has a coldly calculated purpose. Rosita is ready to win over her "prince," but what she overhears is discouraging.
