Todd Sharp, coach of the University of Louisville Ladybirds dance team, works to have his team repeat as national champions; with Nationals 10 weeks away, the Ladybirds are in need of a wake up call; Todd selects a physically demanding routine.

Todd must make a difficult decision about who holds the center position as best friends Marissa and Rose compete for the top spot; Chloe suffers because she did not come to practice prepared; Marissa puts Gabrielle in her place.

Todd pushes the girls to hone their performance skills with a country routine; Gabrielle sees the country number as an opportunity to get into a formation; Todd's best friend and trainer, Patrick, agrees to help him lose weight.
