With Anna and Thomas out of town on school sports trip and Doug at an actors' workshop, Bobby and Tracy find themselves alone in the house for the weekend.

The kids' 16th birthday is approaching and Bobby is in charge of buying them the present. Emma Bigelow wants to throw a pool party for the kids - which make Anna worry about her appearance.

Tracy tells a slimy business client that she is married to Bobby to get him to back off. With the client coming over to the house to sign some papers, Tracy asks Doug to pretend to be her husband, Bobby Rivers.
