Shirley is in London and she causes a sensation when she leads a march of women on a gentleman's club, which has an age-old tradition of "no women".

Shirley wants to interview famous movie star Richard Burley, but finds herself drawn into his matrimonial affairs.

Shirley meets Igor Kuragonovitch, a young Russian who wishes to defect to the West. Not only that - but he also fancies her like mad and tries to get romantic in the back of a car.
