Terra and Joe are startled by some troubling news about their neighborhood and decide it's time to amp up home security. Terra rallies for the dogs to return home and Joe purchases a weapon without consulting Terra. The family celebrates Penny's one-month birthday and a thunderstorm forces Grandma to abruptly leave the party and tend to her dogs. Terra is left disappointed and wondering if her mom will even make it to the upcoming wedding.
