Peter and Annie Brennan (John Larroquette, Christine Baranski) try to nudge their adult children out of the nest.

Annie tries to break up Tim and Maggie by aggressively imposing herself into their personal life; Todd can't decide whether to marry Jeanie or date Susan.

The Brennans decide to set Sara up with two dates, to end her dating drought; when they learn that neither man wants a second date, they figure they must tell her the truth.
