Gaby's offered a kitchen job, but she claims to have a counteroffer in a production with Florence Henderson (who appears as herself).

Gaby's Christmas plans are ruined by a series of mishaps; Albie (Jonathan Slavin) liberates a reindeer from a Christmas-tree lot.

The reappearance of her old boyfriend (D.W. Moffett) unsettles Gaby (Constance Marie), while the diner plays host to a 10-year-old movie star (Brooke Garrett).
