Juan Pablo is charged with marital fraud and as an accomplice. He pleads guilty but implicates Olivia. Carmen asks Miranda for forgiveness when she gives her testimony at the trial.

Miranda is sentenced to ten years in prison without the possibility of bail, and Olivia is sentenced to one year. The moment of revenge arrives when they are taken to the same prison.

Miranda saves Olivia from suffocating during an attack by another inmate; they are taken to a maximum-security wing. Miranda gives birth and hands her baby over to Mauricio.
