Dr. Lavigne is tasked with removing a six-pound mass from a small dog. Dr. Blue and wife welcome their first daughter. The vets make a house call to a llama that's causing some drama. Dr. Ross extracts a whopping 14 teeth from a mini poodle.

The doctors prepare to open a new clinic but are apprehensive about a promise they made to each other regarding the event. Dr. Ross tends to a frizzle hen's eye problem while Dr. Blue is alarmed by a bulldog's burst mammary gland.

We follow three vets and their families as they begin new lives and careers in Houston. It's a big move to a big state, but they dream big, and they're determined to make this work -- for their families, and for the animals of Houston.
