Gabi and a fellow traveler pose as newlyweds at a couples-only resort in Hawaii; Yolanda, Elliot and Alan are mistaken for an unconventional couple.

Before Gabi can return to San Francisco, a hurricane traps her in Hawaii with Josh; Elliot gets angry when Yolanda comes to his rescue instead of Alan.

Gabi pretends to have a job working for famous chef Giada de Laurentiis in an attempt to prove to Josh that she has her life under control. Meanwhile, Josh throws Yolanda a 50th birthday party and uses the event as an excuse to check up on Gabi.
